It is a pleasure to visit Mum in Perrins House. Since moving in last year, she seems content and comfortable. The staff are kind and caring, and the nursing care is excellent.

The staff are so caring, and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is always cheerful and calm, run by extremely experienced, well trained staff. I would recommend Bradbury to any family looking for excellent care for a loved one.

The care she received was outstanding, there are a small number of residents who are cared for by staff who genuinely care and take the time to get to know every residents little ways and likes and dislikes. It really is like one big happy family.

Staff turnover seems to be low, which gives consistency and means the staff get to know the residents. I particularly like the ambience of Perrins House, it's not trying to be a country house hotel but nor does it feel like a care home.

The support and compassion we received from the staff that looked after Mum was above and beyond. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you all did for Mum and us as a family.

Meet The Manager – Jo Bennett

Jo has worked in the care sector for 16 years, building extensive experience across a variety of roles. Most recently, she worked in regional operations supporting a number of large nursing homes, giving her a strong understanding of both the clinical and everyday aspects of providing high-quality care.

Jo’s decision to build a career in care was inspired by personal experience. Growing up, her much-loved grandmother lived with the family and was an important part of everyday life. As her grandmother grew older, Jo and her family experienced palliative care first-hand. It was this experience that inspired her to change career and pursue a role where she could help ensure other people and their families receive the quality of care and support they deserve.

Over the years, Jo has developed a deep understanding of what makes a good care home. For her, it is about much more than meeting someone’s care needs; it is about creating a welcoming and inclusive community where people feel comfortable, valued and genuinely at home.

At Perrins Hall, Jo leads the team with a focus on individuality, quality of life and well-being. She believes residents should be supported to make their own choices, maintain the relationships and interests that matter to them, and enjoy everything that life at Perrins Hall has to offer. Jo is proud to lead a team committed to residents’ health, well-being and happiness, while ensuring families feel welcomed, involved and confident in the care their loved one receives.
